R” Pam ZT”L once spoke to a group of Mechanchim and answered many Chinuch questions. Before beginning he told them that the answers he would be giving were not from Moshe at Har Sinai. He explained that every person has their own view of how to solve Chinuch questions. In his words these answers were from "Avraham Pam" - meaning that Rav Pam ZT"L came up with them. I am not nearly on the level of Rav Pam, although I can assure you that I take every e-mail very seriously. However, these answers are my own, and they are suggestions. When in doubt always ask your Rav. Hazlacha!

Who am I?My name is Yitzie Ross, and I'm a Rebbe. I have been teaching Torah for over 24 years, and Baruch Hashem I have thousands of Talmidim. When I was single, I thought I knew the answer to every parenting dilemma. After getting married and having a child, I realized I didn't know so much after all. Nine wonderful children later, and I'm all out.
This hasn't stopped hundreds of parents from asking me questions about parenting issues over the past 25 years or so. Initially, I was resistant believing that there are many better qualified people out there. However, I've begun to realize that since so many of the questions are similar, as well as familiar, to situations I have dealt with, and I might be able to offer the benefit of my experience and help a little. |
What I hope to accomplish |
Parenting may be challenging, but it can also be a lot of fun. I'm really hoping to give parents some tips and ideas that can help them raise children that have a love for Yiddishkeit.
